About Stampfl
STAMPFL HAM Electronics was founded by Heinz Stampfl HB9KOC in 2005. Stampfl produces kits, Morse keys and smaller electronic components for HAM radio enthusiasts.
The world of shortwave and high-frequency technology has fascinated me since I was a child. As a child, I was transfixed by the mysterious signals that floated through the air, curious to understand how they worked. This early interest led me to building electronic devices myself. With each project I delved deeper into the world of electronics, gained practical experience and further developed my skills. Today I can look back on many years of practical experience, which has only further fueled my passion for HAM electronics and the technology behind it.
My passion in HAM electronics lies not only in the technology itself, but above all in creating projects that other people can relate and understand. Each of my projects strives to build a bridge between technical complexity and everyday applicability. My focus is on high quality on both a mechanical and electrical level.
With an autodidact journey that has now spanned 40 years, I have acquired a deep understanding of the world of HAM electronics. My journey began by creating my first kit, the “Junior 1”, which quickly became an extremely popular device and was mass-produced. In the decades that followed, I spent countless hours trying out a wide variety of electronic components and concepts myself. This extensive practical experience enables me to clearly distinguish between quality and defects. I see technology not just as a tool, but as a multifaceted world in which I constantly expand my knowledge to develop good quality products.
My commitment to good customer service goes far beyond sales. It is my promise that every effort will be made to resolve any issues at no additional cost to the customer. My customers’ satisfaction is my top priority and I do everything I can to ensure that every product works flawlessly. A functioning product is not just a promise, but the basis for trust.
My philosophy at HAM Elektronik is to bring the best minds together to develop innovative solutions. I would be happy to consult with professors, doctors and physicists to develop concepts together and find cost-effective solutions. I am particularly fascinated by the interaction between software and hardware, and I love working in a team of technicians and software programmers on products that are often considered too expensive. Together we strive for creative approaches and efficient solutions to create high-quality products that are affordable for our customers. For me, the exchange of ideas and the synergy within the team are key elements in pursuing innovative paths in HAM electronics.
