Functional principle
The multicoupler is equipped with a low-noise HF operational amplifier with high dynamics equipped.
There is no signal level loss between the input and the outputs. After the low-noise amplifier, a push-pull stage as an output driver ensures a low output impedance (virtual zero ohms). From the zero ohm star point, a passive distribution network is used to distribute to 5 outputs. The decoupling of the outputs prevents connected devices from influencing each other.
The VT5-S RX multicoupler was developed based on a design proposal by Günter Fred Mandel DL4ZAO especially for SWL (Short Wave Listener).
